Modeling the Huge "F" Scale Trestle at Garagemahal - Part One - The Trestle Deck

This week we are starting on the huge trestle that crosses the big 12-foot high canyon on the large-scale railroad at Garagemahal.

The Trestle connects the switching yards and locomotive shops to Alamosa, Schitt's Creek, and through the outside wall to the garden railroad in the yard.

The first part is designing the trestle based on the Rio Grande Southern prototype and cutting out the wood from red cedar. Then constructing the trestle deck. The stringers, bridge ties, rails, and guard rails.
