Earth Day of DU-ing 2021 | University of Denver

While our planet continues to face a growing list of environmental challenges, we at DU believe in taking the little steps forward that make a bigger difference. In honor of Earth Day 2021, hundreds of volunteers gathered to restore local gardens and clean up surrounding debris. By starting with our local community, we are working to protect our most valuable natural resources – not just for Earth Day, but for every day onward.

115 volunteers put in over 200 hours of work to:
• Repair fragmented garden beds and lay new soil.
• Collect over 20 bags of trash.
• Clear broken fences and debris from neighborhood yards.
