Should “Transgender Women” Be Allowed to Compete in Women’s Sports?

Like many high school athletes, Chelsea Mitchell invested years of hard work and dedication in training to be a track star. But no amount of training could prepare her for a game-changing decision made in her home state of Connecticut—she would now have to compete against males.

In 2017, two biological male runners began dominating high school girls’ track—winning 15 championship titles over the next three years that were previously held by nine different girls.

The idea may have seemed equitable in the beginning, but the results have been anything but fair. Beliefs are one thing, but biology is another—athletics makes that perfectly clear.
