peepo but paper mario style: test animations 01-03 (blender 2.8)

these were my first paper mario inspired animation experiments done in blender! i had forgotten to publish this older video, but more polished animations in this style can be seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=93753XBENgE&ab_channel=Pepper

moving parts were drawn in clip studio paint; finished pieces were imported to blender 2.8x as transparent PNGs and animated therein

these animations do not use a rig and are all transform-based - later animations seen in other uploads were made using armatures :}
