We Bought a Banshee! (2003 Yamaha Banshee First Look & Plans)

We just picked up a new bike... but it’s not a bike at all — it's a 2003 Yamaha Banshee! 🛞🔥

Yeah, we know... the channel is called DirtBikeRepair, but when a machine is as legendary as the Yamaha Banshee, we’re more than happy to make an exception. This iconic two-stroke quad is a staple in ATV history, and we couldn't resist adding one to the shop.

🟦 Powered by a twin-cylinder 350cc two-stroke engine derived from the RZ350 street bike, the Banshee became famous for its screaming powerband, unmistakable sound, and aggressive ride. Produced from 1987 until 2006 in North America, the Banshee is a rare breed that still dominates dunes, trails, and drag strips to this day.

In this video, we go over the condition of the Banshee, talk about what needs fixing (of course), and kick off what could be the start of a very different kind of build for the channel.
