Part 1/2 - DeLorean - faulty Bosch Cold start valve fixed. 0280170400

Result, I managed to unclog my cold start valve, which has clearly never been working in the 3 years I’ve owned the car.

For me, I don’t actually need it - the car starts perfect, but this could be a benefit in the winter if I were to use the car. But it’s also nice to have it working!

In this video I managed to unclog the solenoid and now my cold start valve/injector operates and sprays fuel when cold/first started in the morning (there’s specific attributes to this operating).

However…. Watch Part2! I used the car this past weekend and basically the valve wasn’t fully Shutting, so fuel was dripping constantly into the engine (bad) and basically totally ruining the fuel mix, causing hard starting and black sooty plugs !

So in part 2, I ultrasonic clean and seem to have fully fixed it!
