"Lamentation" by Barbara Jean Redman, performed in lament for America, an America that embraced a leader who campaigned largely on promises to cause harm to untold millions of people, a leader with no love or respect for anyone but himself. I lament all the suffering that will be caused, suffering that people not only chose, but cheered. #AmericaIsTheBadPlace

The piece is based on the Jewish Tisha B'Av service, when the Book of Lamentations is read, mourning many tragedies of the Jewish people. It also draws on other melodies, including a Ladino song "Criador, Hasta Cuando" (Creator, until when?)
