NC Meteorologist Les Still Is Tracking Our First Tropical Storm And The Return Of The Heat
Jube 17, 2026 noon weather forecast. Our first (and short lived) storm of the 2026 hurricane season has formed along the Texas gulf coast. It will heat towards Louisiana by Thursday before moving inland and down grading. But the mid-level center of they system will track towards the Carolinas for Friday where it could deliver some strong thunderstorms.
The dangerous heat will also be around for a few days this next week.
