Im buying Energy Stocks | Perception vs Reality

I'm buying energy stocks at these levels given the weight of the fundamental data for the crude oil market over the next 12 to 24 months. As George Soros suggests, the greatest opportunity is when the gap between perception vs reality is at its widest.

I currently hold Exxon Mobil stock & Royal Dutch Shell in the integrated oil space. Today I added Suncor stock to my portfolio given the positive history with value creation for shareholders and improving market fundamentals. SU stock analysis shows a price target of greater than 100% upside from here using Elliott Wave to map out the expected path forward.

Energy stocks 2020 have taken a beating but represent great value with strong dividends with a 12 to 24 month time horizon. My energy stocks to buy are focused in the lower beta large cap integrated oil plays such as XOM stock & SU stock.

WorldOil: No second wave could cause "V" shape recovery in demand.

IEA: EV vehicle sales to hit 20% of total by 2030, however, combustible engines will likely continue to consume oil until mid-decade.

EIA: Oil demand peaks by 2025 with demand increasing 500k b/pd.

McKinsey: Best scenario sees oil reach $50 to $60 post-crisis with the potential for an overshoot in price on the upside.
