Luminar 4 Thinking outside the box

Thinking outside the box in Luminar 4 using the AI Sky Replacement tool.

In this video I take a look at the diversity of the tools available in Luminar 4 and in particular the AI Sky replacement tool. If it can replace a sky can it be used to replace a background in an image? and this case portraits.

This video is from a users point of view and as I like to try new things with software I thought why not. The software isn't marketed for this type of editing so it was just to see if it could work and it did in a lot of cases but most importantly was FUN to try. So don't be contacting Skylum to say that it didn't work for you ;)

For myself it worked with some images and others it didn't but as it's not intended for this I have no complaints whatsoever and had lots of fun trying it.

I tried it on more images than shown here in the video but as I'm only experimenting with the software for this I thought I would only show a couple to let you see a

I can see the possibilities of this working if I changed how I lit my models and backgrounds in the studio so that might be something worth looking at in the future.

Have fun with the software, try new things, think outside the box because sometimes that's where the magic happens.
Luminar 4 available later this year looks like it's going to be a remarkable piece of software for both amateurs and professionals alike.
