Oaxaca City is famous among travellers and only growing in popularity. Tourists love it for many reasons including it's colourful and vibrant culture, world class festivals (it's a favourite for Día de los Muertos), it's fascinating history, and probably above all, the OAXACAN FOOD..
Oaxaca City is widely regarded as one of best places to eat in Mexico and even in the world. It's got delicious mole, tlayudas, tamales, the literal best ice cream in the world, and some tasty mezcal to wash it all down. That's literally just the start. Turns out the City of Oaxaca cooks way more than just regional dishes well, this city makes perfect EVERYTHING! We simply cannot stop eating in Oaxaca.
