Russia: Russian Army begin massive water pipeline project in Crimea

The Russian military began operations to install water pipelines connecting Crimea to the Russian mainland, on Friday. Special battalions from the Western and Eastern military districts used heavy construction equipment to begin work. Alexander Sinyaev, the pipeline’s battalion commander, stated that "eight lines of pipeline have been mounted and are connected to a deep well pump already."
