We are in Bimini Bahamas, just 50 miles off the coast of Miami. This small island is considered the "sport fishing capital of the world" and is a favorite for boaters and Jet-Ski's coming over from the Southeast coast of Florida. Bimini is actually made up of 3 Islands, North, South & East. (We are on the North Island). Ernest Hemingway spent 2 years here while he authored "The Old Man and the Sea".
Fisherman's Village and Marina is a short walk from the cruise pier and has several restaurants, shops and live entertainment. The FREE shuttle tram is a great way to get to the main sites, but there are many golf cart rentals for you to explore on your own.
