Season 2011/2012, The final was held at the Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany. This meant that Bayern were the first finalists to have home advantage since 1984.

The 2017/ 2018, Real Madrid completed their third straight Champions League triumph, with a 3 1 defeat of Liverpool in Olimpiyskiy Stadium in Kyiv, Ukraine.
After Liverpool's Sadio Mané cancelled out Karim Benzema's opener for Real Madrid, two goals from man of the match Gareth Bale proved the difference in a 3 1 win for Real Madrid, making them the first team to win three back-to-back titles in Champions League.
Madrid are the first team to win three in a row since Bayern in the 1970s.
Zidane is the first coach to win the competition three seasons running.
Ronaldo is the first player to win five UEFA Champions League titles.
2018/2019 Champions League final was between Tottenham and Liverpool. The second all-English final. Liverpool won the final 2 0, with a penalty, which was scored after 106 seconds by Mohamed Salah, and a goal by substitute Origi after 87 minutes. Liverpool was as winners, for the sixth time overall.
The 2019/2020 Champions League, Bayern Munich won the final 1 0. Bayern secured their sixth European Cup title, and second continental treble, becoming the second European football team, to win the continental treble twice. Bayern also became the first team to claim all matches with a 100% winning record.
The 2021 Champions League Final. It was played in Porto, Portugal, between English clubs Manchester City, in their first European Cup final, and 2012 winners Chelsea. This was the third all-English final in the competition, after the 2008 and 2019 finals. Chelsea won the final 1 0 for their second UEFA Champions League title, with Kai Havertz scoring the only goal of the game late in the first half.
The 2022 Champions League Final. This was the first final to be played in front of a full attendance, as the previous two finals were affected by the COVID pandemic. The final was given to Saint Petersburg, Russia, but following the terrible and insidious russian invasion of Ukraine on 24 February, the final was relocated to the Stade de France. Vinícius Júnior scored the only goal as Real Madrid beat Liverpool, to win the European Cup. With their win, Real Madrid secured a record-extending 14th title in the European Cup. The club has won twice as many titles as the next-best team, Milan (7 titles).
