The Crayon Factory (PC Version) (Full Playthrough)

A full playthrough of "The Crayon Factory" by Philips Media and Sidewalk Studio.

An edutainment game that teaches about colors. Well... "game" may be an overstatement. "Animated short with a handful of mini-games attached" might be more accurate.

While mostly known as a title for the ill-fated Philips CD-i, this video shows off the (slightly hard-to-find) PC version. The Crayon Factory's most unique feature is the ability to recolor every single character, prop, and setpiece in the animated short. (For the sake of brevity, I sped up the coloring process 3x)

Apologies for the screen-tearing, by the way. DOSBox has the occasional hiccup when playing the animated bits. VirtualBox fares better on that front, but it has trouble with the audio. I ultimately decided screen-tearing was preferable to wonky sound.
