Broaching Keyways in Cast Bronze Capstans Part 2

This is the second of three videos showing how I machine the internal keyways in two cast bronze capstans that were cast by Doug Jackson @SV Seeker IN this video I'll show how I use the Kearney & Trecker horizontal milling machine and a milling cutter to machine the slot in the custom machined broach bushing. I also show how I use gage blocks to accurately check slot widths.
