Demonstration of High Precision Pointing on the LX850

This is a simple demonstration of High Precision Pointing on the Meade LX850 with StarLock. We will start at the star Vega in Lyra and travel across the sky to Hamal in the constellation Aries. Once there, we will travel back to Vega.

Vega, Hamal and the return visit to Vega are captured in the small FOV of the MallinCam Xtreme X2.

Note: Only "Easy Align" was done for this video. Automatic Rate Calibration (ARC) and Periodic Error Correction (PEC) was NOT done prior to this test.
