White House condemns Hong Kong election delay after Trump suggests postponing U.S. election

White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany on Friday denounced Hong Kong leader Carrie Lam's decision to delay legislative elections by a year due to coronavirus concerns as anti-democratic.Her admonition comes one day after President Donald Trump suggested that the United States postpone its own election in November.
