Second, Undyne only knew of her split and the role they played she didn’t know of anyone else’s splits or even if they had them.

Third, Papyrus knows of his and Sans’s split hence why he has another transitions between normal and split.

Forth, Toriel’s split is a complete @$$ she’s manipulative and a liar so that’s why she showed up behind Toriel during her song.

If you’re confused on this because it “doesn’t tie into the Horror story meme” it does Split!Toriel and Split!Asgore are ghost corrupted by hate so they lead Split!Frisk to basically destroy the underground with food shortages, slaves, and guards killing anyone in their way. Undyne quit because of this and joined the rebellion. It got to the point that the Rebels and Frisk were the only survivors when the worlds merged.

The Rebellion’s motto is “Kill the Queen for the crown and the money” the reason is that they would give the crown to either Chara and Azzy/Flowey as they were the rightful rulers or Sans as he lead them through the awful time that was Queen Frisk’s rein.
