James Charles returns to YouTube with a new video called "An Open Conversation". In this video James Charles acknowledges the fact that he messed up and he should do better when speaking with boys online. And no this was not an apology video somehow... James Charles compares his current scandal to the Bye Sister drama started by Tati 2 years ago. James Charles says he has grown so much since then and he has learned so much. James is just sad that with his current drama, people can't see how much he has improved. James Charles starts off by responding to comments that said he sounded robotic in his last ‘taking accountability for myself’ video and that it felt scripted. So James is doing a get-ready-with-me style video and accepts that people might think it’s insensitive that he’s talking about such a serious topic in this way, but he wanted to be more ✨authentic✨. James Charles acknowledges that it was entirely his responsibility to be aware of who he was talking to and how he was talking to them. James said that he took time away from social media to “hold himself accountable” and reflect on his actions. I mean James was still on social media he just wasn’t posting to YouTube, but whatever.
