Transgender issues remain a huge topic in sports as administrations and conferences work to find a solution that’s appropriate for all involved. A federal appeals court in Manhattan ruled four women can sue to prevent trans girls from participating in girls' high school sports. In 23 states, laws prohibit transgender students from participating in sports according to their gender identity. A Biden administration ban on these state bans adds another layer to the ongoing debate.
