In the summer of '67, The Beach Boys faced the first real crisis of their careers. The Smile project had been abandon and, as a group, they instead produced "Smiley Smile." An attempt to record a live album results in their second abandon album of the year. The Beach Boys' fortunes take an unprecedented downturn during the Summer of Love.
