Apacheland

Hank Sheffer remembers Apacheland Movie Studios with Charlie LeSueur. Hank has authored two books about the place he worked and loved for many years. Apacheland Movie Ranch was built in 1959 it was used for a TV and Movie Set and became an Arizona landmark. Apacheland hosted Actors such as Elvis Presley, Jason Robards, Stella Stevens, Ronald Reagan, and Audie Murphy. They filmed many western television shows and movies here, such as Gambler II, Death Valley Days, Charro!, Have Gun, Will Travel.

A second fire destroyed most of Apacheland for the second time in 2004, and it closed for good two days after its 45th anniversary. like the films shot there it's legacy will last for ever.
