Early in the investigation into Nefertiri “Neffie” Trader’s disappearance, one name repeatedly came up: Radee Prince.

Months before Neffie went missing, the two crossed paths at a club in Wilmington. They ended up in a car together with another person when Radee was suddenly pulled out and violently assaulted. He later became convinced that Neffie had set him up.

Investigators, however, say there is no evidence to support that belief. The two were not close, and their interaction that night appeared to be coincidental. Still, Radee allegedly held onto that suspicion.

He later served time in prison for an unrelated crime and has never admitted any involvement in Neffie’s disappearance.
