ASBK Round 1, Phillip Island - February 24, 2019

The 2019 Motul Pirelli Australian Superbike Championship kicks off at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit for the first of seven rounds, held across four states. Penrite Honda Racing’s Troy Herfoss comes into this season as the two time and defending champion in Australia’s leading domestic motorcycle championship. But he will be facing extremely strong opposition from the likes of Wayne Maxwell, Daniel Falzon, Josh Waters, Bryan Staring, Cru Halliday and Glenn Allerton to name a few, as they try and wrestle the Number 1 plate away from him. It’s set to be a cracking season of Superbike racing and it kicks off at the Island.
