Aligarh lynching twist: Seized meat not from cow or progeny, says lab report

A major development has emerged in the Aligarh mob violence case where four men were attacked over allegations of transporting cow meat. A forensic lab report has now confirmed that the seized meat was not from a cow or any cow progeny, according to Aligarh Circle Officer Sarjana Singh.

The incident occurred in Harduaganj on May 24. So far, four accused have been arrested, while others named in the FIR are being traced. The FIR includes 12 named individuals and 25 unnamed.

Samajwadi Party MP Ramji Lal Suman visited the victims in hospital, and several opposition leaders have demanded strict action against those involved.
