HONDA ADVENTURE MOTORCYCLE REBORN (4000m ride) - ep35

Honda adventure motorcycle reborn after having spent three months in the Netherlands. Thanks for all the supportive comments regarding my uncle from the previous episode. Returned to Chile and right away had to solve an issue with customs and the motorcycle temporary import. After that it was time to put a new paint job on the trusty Honda Transalp, gone Africa Twin. Ran into some complications and a lot more work was done than shown in the video. Fuel tank was actually sand blasted down to bare metal after the first layer of paint for better results. Then I went and bought black polyurethane instead of polyester and Vic sprayed it on thinking it was the latter. No hardener. Could not turn back after that since I had to leave the country with the bike in two days. Hence the paint job is soft and everything on top of the black doesn't stick properly. Shit happens. Still Alp ended up looking dope all things considered. I'll fix the main faults later when the bike can stay longer in Chile again. But first time for a border run to Bolivia at 4000m to renew the temporary import in Chile for the motorbike.
