I want to introduce you to an amazing travel opportunity that also allows you to learn about medicine abroad. If you or your pre-PA peers are looking for summer experiences that also contribute to your path towards becoming a PA, consider Atlantis, which runs summer break study abroad hospital shadowing programs for U.S. pre-health and pre-PA students.

Atlantis is a way to combine a cultural experience traveling in Europe with meaningful hospital shadowing. Alongside pre-med students, hundreds of pre-PA students have also participated in these summer programs. If your college has a pre-health advisor, ask them about their views on Atlantis, since the majority are aware of this program and more than 1 out of 10 has visited these programs in person. They also have an option in DC now too for a research-based project.
