Chiang Mai - City of Creativity and Diversity.

We hope that you appreciate the quite unique combination of voices describing what makes Chiang Mai, a small-medium sized city in Northern Thailand, so unique, diverse and popular. เชียงใหม่เมีองเล็ก-กลางที่มีความหลากหลายสูง

This video was originally developed for a hybrid online BOMA event in Chongqing China (which is an official sister city of Chiang Mai. BOMA is similar to TED events with speakers giving talks about a subject. The agreed topic focus was to show Chiang Mai's diversity by interviewing 8-10 people and adding general photography and video footage. Other speakers talk about how create better venues, events, urban development projects, etc. The version for China had about 800k to a million views (shown in late September 2020). Subsequently, this "global" version was developed. Due to the origin of this video, it is longer than a typical promotional video but shorter than a full documentary.

We appreciate the support and help of all those that agreed to be interviewed, who helped to review, and the editing and production team. The timescale and resource for making this video were extremely limited, we appreciate the support by Chiang Mai University and its Science & Technology Park, the BOMA China team, Creative Chiang Mai, and The Little Studio.
