Whisky.com reviews the Ardbeg Anthology. This Ardbeg single malt whisky is the first bottling in Ardbeg's limited Anthology series. Harpy's Tale matured for 13 years in rare Sauternes wine casks and was married with classic Ardbeg ex-bourbon. After over a decade in the cask, the rising smoke turns to sweetness as Ardbeg's distinctive character combines with the rich facets of the Sauternes casks. The design is inspired by the legend of the Harpies, hybrid creatures half human woman half bird. The legendary bottling comes at 46% vol. slightly increased drinking strength without colouring and without chill filtering.
