Pushing our Limits in the Backcountry Hiking in Algonquin Park! (Western Uplands Loop 1)
Hiking the Western Uplands Trail in Algonquin Provincial Park was both challenging and rewarding. Our second day on the trail promised approximately 12 km of hiking that would push us to our physical limits... the heat and humidity (29 degrees C) combined with ever present mosquitos made for difficult trekking. We did manage to make it to Panther Lake with plenty of time to spare. Panther Lake is a long, secluded lake on the first loop of the trail. Separated by the main trail by a nearly 1 km side trail, our campsite was incredibly secluded, and equally as stunning.

WHO ARE WE?
We are a couple of full-time travel dreamers who decided to pack up our lives in search of what makes us happy: culture, food, and travel! Since starting to travel together a few years ago, we always dream of the next adventure. We always look for the beauty in each place we visit, and are passionate about documenting the amazing, spontaneous adventures that happen along the way. We desire to blend our passion for travel and for filmmaking, in order to share our experiences, the delicious food that we eat, the beautiful cultures that we find, and the friendly people we meet along the way.
As the resolution to the pandemic draws closer, so too does our plans of restarting our travels. Subscribe for more adventure to come!
