SIOUXSIE SIOUX INSPIRED MAKEUP TUTORIAL

Here is a 70s/80s inspired punk look with a slight reference to Siouxsie Sioux and the Banshees. It's the first makeup I did on my channel which I called my Neon Geisha tutorial. I'm covering glitter brows, black lipstick, double lashes, dramatic blush and pale skin beauty.

📸Video Retouching - All images on Joseph Harwood 2020 have been horizontally flipped to combat my experience of body dysphoria. They've been lit artificially using the post-production effect RGB curves, to make the shadows read as black, and the highlights read as white in a variation of lighting setups.
📸Thumbnail Retouching - No retouching is done to the thumbnail to distort or change the makeup going forward, often reds in brown tones read stronger and that is desaturated. The colours are altered with fast colour corrector in Adobe and the whole video is sharpened using Unsharp Mask. I also took my face and cut out the shape, moved it into the middle but no digital retouching needed.
📸Photography Set - This is shot on a Canon G7X with one or two panel-lights toned to yellow, with sunlight.
