Visiting Shibuya Sky (BEST view of Tokyo)

The brand-new Shibuya Sky rooftop is easily the best rooftop view of Tokyo! Found on top of the Scramble Square shopping mall, the skydeck is super modern and makes for the very best photos.

There's simply no better place to see Tokyo at night than here - we loved climbing the knee-knocking escalator to the very top and taking as much time as we wanted to watch the bright lights of the city.

Out of everything we did during our one week in Tokyo, this was by far my favourite activity. The staff were all super friendly, the rooftop felt safe, and everyone was super patient when it came to making sure people had time to get photos. We're sure it's just as gorgeous during the day, too!

It's a little pricier than some of the other options in Shibuya, but you can stay up there for as long as you'd like. We promise it's 100% worth it. There are also lockers to put your belongings in so nothing flies away!
