This guitar features a classic mahogany sound with @GibsonTV modern 490 pickup set. Larry is playing the Gibson Les Paul Special Tribute Humbucker....Yes, it is the Humbuckers that make this guitar so special. This guitar was sort of an evolution from the Gibson Les Paul Junior it eventually evolved to have two P90 Pickups in it and was they renamed that version the Gibson Les Paul Special.
