Baby Seal Rescued From Gill Net

The colour of the gill net was an indication of how old it was. This gill net must’ve entangled other marine animals before this baby seal came along. Even though the net was old and brittle, it was still hard enough to cause severe injuries to the seal. Without our intervention, the gill net could have killed the seal. 🦭
