Drone Pilot Fined $20,000 by FAA

Drone pilot recently fined $20,000.00 (USD) for flying his DJI Phantom 3 drone in Las Vegas after losing communication with the drone shortly after takeoff. The drone eventually ended up on an active runway at the McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas.
