In February 2022, Canadian jazz musicians Jodi Proznick and Amanda Tosoff formed The Ostara Project, gathering seven top female jazz artists to challenge the male-dominated narrative. Their debut album, featuring compositions from each member, was a 2022 JUNO nominee. This fluid ensemble amplifies female voices in jazz, inspiring future generations.
