La Cinquecento 2020 *upwind edition* | Season 2020 episode 5

"La Cinquecento" is the oldest Italian doublehanded offshore race, also open to crewed boats. I won it in 2018 onboard a "Class 40" boat but now it was different- together with my co-skipper I sailed the smallest boat in the race fleet, a "Mini 650", over a 500 miles course across the Adriatic. Small boat puts everything in a different perspective! Although this year some 85% of the race was upwind (as you can see in the video title), I love racing it!
