I sat down with Mic Roland on Zoom, and we talked about his prepper fiction books, the writing process, and more.

Mic Roland is a post-apocalyptic fiction writer, known for his series centered around Martin Simmons, The Siege of New Hampshire. The series is set in a grid-down SHTF world and explores the challenges of such an event as a normal working family might. The first book follows Martin as he tries to get home after an EMP takes down the Nation's power grid, and subsequent books continue to delve into life without everyday modern conveniences. Mic is currently working on the sixth book of the series.
