New Zealand's most dangerous road | Skippers Canyon 4WD track

The Skippers Canyon road dives into the back country near Queenstown, New Zealand. I spend the day in 4WD, roaming along the old gold mining trail to Skippers settlement. This is an amazing 4WD destination. New Zealand has a vast gold mining history that, thanks to 4WD's, we can now roam and explore in leisure. Be careful though! The drop offs are steep and in the winter this track can be hit hard with avalanches, snow, ice, mud, ruts, land slides, rock falls and more! A true off road adventure. In the summer this track can be taken on by any keen overlander though and is a great spot for family outings.
