Fox news host Brian Kilmeade decided it was going to be a good idea. Wednesday morning to interview a group of children via zoom, to get them to explain to the public why they just desperately want to get back to school. So darn bad, because after all who better to make the case to reopen schools than the people affected the most by it in theory, it's a good idea, but it's only a good idea. If you have an intelligent person hosting the show, you remember the show, I'd actually think it aired on the Fox network. Are you smarter than a fifth grader? Yeah. Well, um, Brian Kilmeade proved during this interview that he was in fact, not take a look at what happened when one of these young children, I believe this was a sixth grader called out Donald Trump for his botched response to the pandemic and watch how testy Brian Kilmeade gets with this child. Um, I miss most obviously seeing my friends and all the after-school activities that I've done. And I think that we're very, very close getting back into school. And I think that, um, the way that our new president is handling things is a very good way. And we would have not have gotten to this if it were still the last president,

That's hard to believe because the last president was saying, I want every kid back in school.

First of all, the kids, right? Based on every single thing that we saw coming from Donald Trump, based on what we saw here in red States, where schools have been reopened since August, which to me is a little weird, by the way, to see all these people, like we got to reopen schools. I wish I lived in an area that was still doing distance learning, distance learning only, but, uh, here in my very red Florida, uh, it's been open. The kids have been back in school since August. Uh, but anyway, this kid correctly pointed out that yeah, Donald Trump probably would have botched this cause he bought the thing with masks. He bought the social distancing. He botched the stay at home orders cause he didn't do any of these things. They botched the stimulus, you know, the first round of stimulus that allowed all these massive corporations to swoop in and take millions and millions of dollars that was meant to protect small businesses.

The guy screwed up every possible thing with the pandemic. So there is absolutely no reason why we should expect any different if Trump had been in charge of reopening schools across the country, but then you get to kill meat's response. Oh, he was mad. Oh really? Well the other guy wanted to open school. So just because you're talking to sixth graders, Brian doesn't mean you have to respond like a sixth grader would, but that's what you did because I think mentally that's where you are. And in fact, that's an insult to those other sixth graders on the panel. They were clearly far smarter than you are. Maybe next time, Brian aim a little lower. Maybe next time I'll just pull in some first graders. Maybe get some kindergarteners in there. Then they might be intellectually on your level. Then you might be able to get in a couple zingers and walk away thinking, Oh man, I owned those kids. Whoo gave them a weapon, but I'm sorry. Brian. Sixth graders are apparently just too far out of your league because you couldn't handle it. When one of them hit you with a stone cold truth.
