Hey Guys, Here Are The 2025 Honda GL1800 Gold Wing DCT and Gold Wing Tour DCT Airbag Celebrating Half a Century of Grand Touring Motorcycles

A limited-edition model combining the first and last generation of Gold Wings. Enhanced connectivity and infotainment. Euro5+ compliance. Since its introduction in 1975 as what we would now call the Sport-GT, and celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2025, the Gold Wing has always represented a benchmark when it comes to long-distance touring.

Over the past five decades, the flagship of Honda's GT range has continued to improve, gaining in size, displacement, and riding comfort, building over time a lasting and undisputed reputation for quality, luxury, and comfort. Today, the 2025 model year benefits from several detail improvements that reinforce its status as a benchmark among long-distance travel enthusiasts.

In its "50th Anniversary" version, the GL1800 Gold Wing Tour DCT Airbag pays homage to the Gold Wings of the past with two new liveries and specific markings. The first "Gold" color, updated for 2025, refers to the legendary 6-cylinder GL1500 that debuted in 1988. The other color, a Red accented with Black and Gold graphics and lettering, reflects the refinement that has accompanied the Gold Wing since its inception. The center console and its Smart Key feature a Gold Wing logo with "50th Anniversary" details and "since 1975" markings. The instrument display has also been modified with a dedicated power-up animation.

To further highlight the significance of this anniversary, the first 1,833 "50th Anniversary" Gold Wings sold in Europe will be accompanied by a limited edition 28 x 15 cm model, reproducing the original Gold Wing on one side and the current Gold Wing on the other.

True to its reputation as a benchmark in terms of comfort and technology, the 2025 GL1800 Gold Wing has been optimized in several areas: driver/passenger Bluetooth intercom, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto platforms now accessible via WiFi (wireless connectivity remains available), and the quality of the audio system for clear sound at all speeds. Both versions (Gold Wing Tour DCT Airbag and Gold Wing DCT) benefit from additional improvements with new settings for the ECU and the adoption of an OBD2-2 sensor to meet the requirements of the latest Euro5+ standards.

The GL1800 Gold Wing Tour DCT Airbag "50th Anniversary" is available in the following colors:

- Gold (new for 2025)
- Red (new for 2025)

The GL1800 Gold Wing Tour DCT Airbag is also available in Silver (new for 2025), without "50th Anniversary" markings.

Finally, the GL1800 Gold Wing DCT version is only available in a Black "50th Anniversary" version, adorned with specific markings and subtly affixed Gold Wing logos on the side cases.
