Vintage Stove Exchange Westinghouse to Frigidaire

Changing stoves is a long Cavalcade of Food tradition that allows me to enjoy the variety of electric ranges in the collection. When I had the summer cottage, this task was quite an ordeal but we did it once a year and I was limited to only using 30-inch ranges due to space. Now, I can change stoves out fairly quickly and easily, and install any size range.
We took out the 1951 Westinghouse 40-inch range that I've been using since the kitchen studio opened. What a wonderful stove to use! This range is probably one of the heaviest in the collection, very well built and sturdy, and includes many nice features like a Miracle Oven, Color Glance controls, appliance outlets, and warming drawer.
Going in to the kitchen is a 1958 Frigidaire Deluxe 30-inch range. While this was not a top-of-the-line model, it does have a nice big oven, 2 eight-inch burners, an outlet and work light. Like many of the stoves, it was untested when I got it, so this was the first chance I had to plug it in and go over it. Other than the clock, everything else on the stove works fine. I'll keep this one in the studio kitchen for a few months and see how I like cooking and baking with it!
