New #COVID19 Testing Technologies: Dr. Bruce Tromberg & Dr. Francis Collins
On July 31, 2020, NIH’s Rapid Acceleration of Diagnostics (RADx) initiative awarded seven biomedical diagnostics companies with contracts to support new lab-based & point-of-care tests to diagnose COVID-19; this would significantly increase the number, type, & availability of tests available to the public by September 2020.
