Fuji XT3 | Cabin | Flog | Long GOP | 4K | Oregon | ASMR | Cinematic
First of all, I hope you are all safe and healthy in these crazy times.
We got a chance to unplug from the world for 3 days in beautiful Oregon. It still doesn't feel like traveling in full capacity with covid and all recent wildfires. We needed this time to empty our minds and get away from our super busy work life.
As I mentioned before, making videos is my meditation. I always shoot some video clips even if I share or not on YouTube.
This is another one of those relaxation videos we created for ourselves as a visual journal. Please don't take it seriously. I get some comments about some super crazy technical details about edit, colors, etc. Keep in mind that this is a super personal project and I am in no way in search for true colors or perfect edits. I am not a YouTuber :)
I wanted to see how far I can go without using music. With a $60 mic it was pretty challenging. I used an external recorder for some scenes to balance it out. Still need to figure out a better solution for high quality audio for my upcoming videos. I don't wanna rely on background music heavily. Most of my favorite directors didn't use music for their most powerful scenes. Good scenes should speak for themselves. I feel like I might get there at some point. And yes I get my inspiration mostly from old movies, not YouTube.
Thanks a lot for all the amazing comments and support! I can't believe this channel made it to 5K subscribers.
Thanks for watching and cheers!
