Ford Model T First Engine Run and a bit of bling for the old thing

Hi all,
Well in this video, I try to get the engine running on my 1923 Model T Ford. I then find that the Holley G carburettor has some issues and that some joker 30 or 40 years ago had drilled a hole in the needle seat. So I carried on with the rest of the car whilst trying to find parts for a carburettor that has not been in production since about 1920...
Finally I found a Holley NH which is a lot easier to set up and just rebuilt that instead. But I will get my Holley G running as a spare.
So after all that I did get her running and it has been good as it has given me something to do during the Covid-19 lockdown. I am struggling to get over to France to finish the boat so at least I can do something productive with my time.

The radiator cowl now has a stainless top piece as a good cowl was £100 and I had a bit of stainless lying around from the boat. I also fitted Boyce Motometer and gull wing as a cap.

Well that is about it. If you fancy a good read about the Model T Ford, then what got me to buy this was 'Another Fine Mess' Across Trump land in a Model T Ford by Tim Moore. Good book with quite a bit of Ford History interwoven into a road trip across the States.
