Snail Battles for Survival Against Flatworm | Nat Geo Wild

This snail is in a desperate struggle for its life as it's slowly devoured by a flatworm in Brazil. Land planarians are carnivorous, and secrete a sticky mucus to help capture their prey. Some species can chemically detect the mucus trail of snails to help track them down. Once the prey is immobilized, the flatworms use chemicals to dissolve and digest the unlucky victims.
