Ellen welcomed Evan Lalanne, whose videos of himself impressively skating in a wheelchair went viral. He talked with Ellen about the accident that left him paralyzed from the waist down, and how he’s found joy in life’s challenges. Then Ellen had a couple of huge surprises for Evan – a present from her friends at Shutterfly and a visit from his favorite skateboarder, Tony Hawk!
