Baby Black Bear Cub Stops By For Breakfast In Vernon NJ

I let my two black labs out this morning to do their business and noticed two black bear cubs off to the left and luckily downwind or Abby would have been after them like a shot. I immediatly called the dogs in and went to get my camera. One of the cubs must have seen us go inside and followed us right up onto the front porch. At that age I don't think they have a real fear of man. I think the cub just wanted to get some of the ham and cheese omlette I had just made! As soon as he got a little too insistent we chased them off and set off a couple of M-80's to hopefully discourage a return. For any licensing requests please contact licensing@break.com
