Eve of the Feast of the Presentation of our Lord Jesus Christ to the Temple.

On February 13, in the Mother Cathedral of Holy Etchmiadzin on the ocassion of the Feast of the Presentation of our Lord Jesus Christ to the Temple, a pre-feast service was offered. His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, blessed the four corners of the world (Andastan) in the Mother Cathedral of Holy Etchmiadzin. The Andastan Service was followed by the ceremony of the lighting of the traditional fire, symbolizing the Light and Wisdom of Christ.

Փետրվարի 13-ին Էջմիածնի Մայր Տաճարում Երեկոյան ժամերգության ավարտին, Տյառնըդառաջի տոնի առիթով, կատարվեց նախատոնակ և անդաստանի կարգ` հանդիսապետությամբ Գարեգին Բ Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսի, որից հետո վառվեց Տյառնընդառաջի ավանդական խարույկը` խորհրդանշելով Քրիստոսի Լույսն ու Իմաստությունը:
